RED JUMPSUIT

RED JUMPSUIT

 Once upon a time...

When little Nataliia was around 6 years old, her great-grandmother, a skilled modeliste, handed her a small piece of fabric. That moment was etched in her memory as the first red miniature jumpsuit they created together. It was meant for a doll.

And as soon as the young lady, Nataliia, learned to write, she scribbled with her clumsy child's handwriting on her grandmother's book titled "Cutting and Sewing" published in 1939: "I want to sew!"

    And so, this story begins.

Nata became so captivated that she wouldn't go out to play with friends until a new outfit was created. new day, new dress. But the doll remained constant. The young lady struck a deal with a nearby atelier, where they collected fabric scraps for her - a way to bring her endless imaginings to life!

With time, this "obsession" took a back seat as the promising student in her parents' eyes had to pursue a prestigious profession (as per most societal norms, of course). So, entering university to study "Economics," the young lady had no idea that soon she would receive an unexpected offer from a friend who was looking for someone to attend a regular sewing school due to a lack of students for the profession of "pattern cutter." The initial fear of failure lasted only at the beginning because this venture quickly became a passion.

And so, for a moment, the story paused but continued its course...

Simultaneously studying at university, the young lady fell more and more in love with the craft that she's been pursuing since she was 17, as a couturier experienced in designing and creating clothing.

She works in her creative studio, a closed space that she envisioned vividly even when she had nothing - and it found her! It's an old house from the early 20th century, a place she dreams of purchasing, restoring, and transforming into a true Fashion House, which will adorn the entire city, where she will create... For "her people" - from all around the world!

...And nearby, a colossal magical greenhouse...

P.S. The book with a childhood wish is now always in her studio. Twenty years later, it was complemented by another one - let it be a secret until it comes true.
